A new skill (PvE only), that is super-powerful and godly. (So the character gets to go through games easier). Put farming restrictions on it or something (like no drops when using it).
I'd love to click a button and nuke everything, would be highly satisfying. I'd just walk around RoT getting revenge.
I know it is very unrealistic, I'm just dreaming. (Though I think the skill idea is good, along the lines of the lightbringer skills).

I personally like the idea of a title like veteran or something. It wouldn't appect the game at all, would probably be easy for them to put in and is still something not everyone would have. I'm sure some people would complain about it affecting the KOABD title but if you've had a character that long chances are you've already got a good start on it.

Simple message there. I hope no one is confused or concerned about it. Thanks for reading.

Thanks for the clarification Gaile and point noted. It's nice to see you taking an active role in this poll and i'm sorry that some people seemed to have a negative approach to your comments.
They have been helpful and i'm glad that you have at least given this poll some serious consideration.
Much appreciated,

Please read my initial post in detail and you will see that i have already said as much, but it is only thorugh means such as this that Gaile and other at ANet get to hear what regular players would like to se in game. This does not mean that this is a demand or that if it doesnt happen then ANet are bad, but a set of ideas and their popularity...or not in some cases.
I thank you for giving your opinion on the matter and your point has been noted.

I voted other, but in truth i would like almost any of them except for mini-pets.
It just screams "easy way out" in every way.
It's what they do for everything now. every event, every special prize.
and because of that, it will be almost impossible to ever get a complete set of them as they are releasing new ones every couple of weeks on average.
And if you do go for mini-pets which you probably will, then at least give us a chance to chose which one we actually want. don't give us something random. please.
think of it as getting someone a gift card instead of a random video game that the person might or might not like

Disguises, definately. Should be easy to program, since there is already disguises in the game (Candy Corn, Elves, Corsair Disguise, Kournan Soldier Disguise, Wurm). Just need to make it an unlimited use "Double-click to use, Double-click again to put away"-style item that's tradeable, like minipets.
Plus, it's just so darn cool. I'd much rather have that than a mini, aura, wings, or anything else on that list.

I vote for the aura/visual effect. It's like the CE Divine Aura. Great way to flash your seniority, without taking up inventory space or being too dull.

I vote for Disguises. It's realistic. They already have items that can change a player's appearance (Transmogrifier Tonics and Yuletide Tonics). And I understand completely that certain animations have not yet been programmed into the game for a lot of the enemy models. Solution A: Make them only useable within outposts. That way, all they'd have to program would be a few emotes. Solution B: Disable all skills and attacks while in your disguise. What animations are there that don't require the activation of a skill or the command to attack, save emotes? (Moving from point A to point B has already been programmed into the game for literally every model in the game)
So, in Conclusion: Vote for Disguises

The ability to have seven heroes in my group. Barring that, skill selection for the hench. What idiot thought Charge was a good idea for most of the warriors?

actually I love the warrior henchies using Charge. Helps speed things up, esspecially if I'm doing some map uncoverage for cartographer title...but that's off topic.
I wouldn't mind disguises either. Seems like a great alternative to minipets and a lot funner and easy to implement.

I'd like to see something that nobody can buy into.
Minipets for example - great - but I don't like the way people could buy into them.
I voted for the veteran title - as it's one of the few things that people cannot buy into.
One thing I DO NOT want is ascetics/items that make people jealous. I have fell victim in the past where I was made very jealous over something I could not obtain soon/at all.
I sound like i'm contradicting myself - but let me explain.
-A title is just something to show that you have had that character since day 1 (or 2 years -post 28April). Nothing too big or to small. (Shouldn't count for PKM or KoABD)
-Something like a 1337 set of max armor that only veterans have access to would be over the top- It would make many players jealous and sometimes jealousy leads to leaving games.
I hope you understand my point
-Ashleigh
Important Edit to Gaile: Will there be any love for 'account is 2 years old?' I've had the game since before day 1 but only one of my characters is 24 months old. (Probably 2 days less than 24 months as of 28th April due to remake)

I voted on a title but now that I see Hair Change Token as a alternative I think I should have voted for that one, I need one of those since my ele's FoW set will cute through his hair .

The title will be perfect for me. But if added, it must show in 1 year characters too.
Veteran (1) / 1 year.
Fierce Veteran (2) / 2 years.
Mighty Veteran (3) / 3 years.
.. or whatever another name, I don't care to much about the name of the title.
Anyway, the 2 years "gift" could be anything; The title idea is an add-on (not the gift)

Those... other things mean that team members are assigned to significant, time-consuming, and extremely valuable tasks. We must focus on the future while supporting the present, and the presents, too.
So while I appreciate the thoughts behind many of these excellent ideas, they are, unfortunately, unrealistic requests and will not be possible as a 2nd birthday present. That is not because we don't want to give them, but because (1) we have time constraints that would not allow their implementation by April 28th, (2) they are features or elements that we intend or hope to offer all players, not just birthday celebrants, or (3) they demand too many resources that are, for the good of the game and the good for the entire playerbase, best focused elsewhere.
I hope this note isn't discouraging -- that's not at all my intention! I'm offering these words only to let you know about some of the realities that we face -- as devs and as players -- and to ask for your support. Player polls are great, and they do help us learn a lot, as long as "wish" doesn't become "demand" or "unfulfilled promise." Thanks for understanding.

there is always birthday 3 . IMO the weapon idea is the best ONLY if its customised!
